The J.X.S.D.F. collection was inspired by the human heroes of Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla and Godzilla: Tokyo S.O.S.
Most of the graphics were direct references from the uniforms in the films and designed with the intention of creating a wearable collection for the fans.
The uniforms in the films have various patchwork and graphics representing the J.X.S.D.F. which would be easily recognizable and well received by fans. I didn’t want to do a direct cosplay so instead of bomber jackets I chose a work jacket, which has been more on trend, among other easily wearable pieces for our customers who may not be so ‘fashion forward’.
